A set of two designs commissioned by the City of Surrey to be displayed on 130+ street poles near significant cultural destinations.
The butterfly wing patterns feature native BC plants, including Pacific Bleeding Heart and Nootka Rose, grounding the work in local ecology and a sense of place. The "wings" are lightly animated by the wind.
